The Melita and District Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1902 as Melita Board Trade. In 1945, it was changed to Melita and District Chamber of Commerce to enable individuals as well as businesses to be members. The Chamber is a non-profit membership driven organization established to promote Melita and the surrounding district.
The mission of the Chamber is to promote and improve trade and commerce and the economic, civic, and social welfare of the district.
